A long time ago, in a not too distant future,
time seemed to move slower, and colours felt more faded. The sky less blue, and the grass less green. The oceans smaller, and the mountains shorter. The sun less bright,
the moon further, and the stars fewer and dimmer. There was a deep emptiness in the land. The emptiness was never filled, and so it lead to a great pain in the people. The people's pain was never valued, and so it warped into a widespread fear.
